So.... are Meta Alloy Hull Reinforcements pointless now?

Am i misssing someing or is the Guardian one just flat out better in every way?

281,089 Credit difference is enough for me to pass!

Seriously though, unless you can engineer the guardian ones (assuming not), then I'd stick with engineered normal ones unless fighting goids (for the HRP, MRP idk).

meh. I think I'll keep my G5 heavy duty HRPs but one of those MRPs might be good if they counteract the EMP....it would free up a utility slot (and power draw of the EMP neutralizer probably makes it pretty close to neutral).

can you use AFMU on the guardian MRP?

Has anyone tested the Guaridan MRP yet?

Also, the Meta Alloy HRP & Guardian HRP are still quite inferior to a regular HRP engineered with Heavy Duty + Deep Plating. The resistance they offer is so tiny that the advantage they offer over a plain nonengineered HRP to begin with is miniscule.

If you get a full set of guardian modules the synergies will make your ship invincible :D

Ah good memories of Diablo sets...

Eh. On one hand, it's sort of interesting if that's going to be the case - on the other it reinforces my impression that Fdev are using Warframe as an example (set mods), and that is not a good thing.

Hasn't been so far.

There has been no synergy, despite it being enthusiastically called for.

At the moment Guardian tech is in part, an alternative to engineering, on the modules side of things

What about 104% power output using a guardian power plant and a guardian power distributor?

So far to me it looks like "Wow, this Guardian tech would be really cool if Engineers hadn't existed to begin with"....Fdev really dug their own hole on this one when they committed to the words "definite upgrade" with Engineers.
