In alpha we could only upgrade equipment, but not engineer it. So now i wonder if any of following can be used for engineering, or it's just a trash you shouldn't even pick up?

This…I‘ve looked at the new gears upgrade mats and won’t even begin to guess where to find them. I did get an invite from one of the new Engineers, but she wants 5 Push, again not a clue where to find that..

Apparently crash sites. Not found any myself yet - trying to get the '10 repair' engineer at the moment

What am I doing wrong? I've seen no engineer invite at all.
Granted I'm stuck in one ship because my carrier is outside the bubble a ways with all the rest of my stuff, so I can't get far.

Question was not about what to do with those. Yeah, if they useless i sell them. Question was if it even worth picking up, as it sells for very little.
