So... can we get a teaser for the announcement of the trailer for the patch notes of the Carrier update... soon?

I'm interested in Fleet Carriers, just being able to transport a lot (or all) of our ships around is appealing to me. Other features brought by support ships or upgrades are just a bonus to me.
My Christmas wish is that FDev wouldn't be so secretive about updates that have been announced, and even covered with a video when we thought the update was due around now, back in August.
Clearly there is enough work done, and set in stone regarding Fleet Carriers at this point to share something, if they wanted to. Pricing, features, and other information about functionality may still be in flux (though I really hope not). Nevertheless, it would be nice to know what is set in stone at this point.

I suspect that they are not a a point where anything is finalized on the Fleet Carriers to the point where they can release a trailer. The release at this point is still Q2, upwards of six months away.

TBH I sorta hope Frontier keep quiet about it until it's 'definitely' happening, I got very excited when they released pictures/info about the upcoming Ice Worlds ... 'nuff said eh!

Having read it I have to say that if any actual news is present in the January 6 livestream that loud crash you hear will be me falling off my perch. But my natural cynicism owes nothing to the paragraph's phrasing.

There was the same problem with the free Christmas ARX announcement - on first reading the natural assumption was to assume that the number of ARX given would increase each day. Only when that didn't happen would you go back and have to admit that other interpretations were available.

News about fleet carriers: Possible
News about new era stuff: very unlikely

They clearly said that any information on it wouldn't come before Q3 2020.

Regarding the second paragraph, I've no idea how you came to the conclusion that bonus Sex would increase each day.
