So could we have powerplay faction decals then please frontier!

So we all know that we cannot buy or equip the major faction decals, so how about letting us use our pledged powerplay decals instead then?

At least you could set it at a higher (or lower) tier as a reward, a bit like the specials - what do you think?

I cannot for the life of me understand why frontier don't seem to want to either give us, or sell us, the main faction logos.

If we can't get them any other way - let us earn them for our factions!

Personally I think it would be cool if there was a way to instead of the wireframe target model we'd be able to get a miniature of the targets ship, to be able to see paintjob and such, since right now, unless very close you don't really see it.

But yeah decales would be nice too

Its a nice idea, although remember, powers can rise and fall. This means every time a new power appears, people will be crying if FD don't release a decal for them immediately. And what about the work that goes into creating decals for powers that faill?

Still, it can't be too much work for the art team to make decals. Each power has a logo specific to it anyway, so its just converting that into the same format the decal is in (size, alpha channel, specular map?)

The decal would be the same emblem they already have in the game anyway. The extra work should be minimal. And if a power falls while you are pledged to it, I would guess you can keep the decal forever. If you jump ship however, you'd lose it. :D

1.2 discussion as far as I'm concerned. Make decals available now. In-store, in-game, wherever. Right now. They can delay 1.3 a month if they give me earnable decals and/or paint jobs today ;)

And a coloured faction paint scheme! You know what, make it a reward for staying with them for half a year. Mbwahaha-haha-hah!
