Come on, own up!! I still do it from time to time, usually an undignified scramble to get back out of the mailslot, or an ignominius bellyflop against the outside of the station after a last minute swerve...[yesnod]

yep. I also fired on someone when I came in peace, by accident pressed wrong button lol, didn't fight back and got blown up oops

Also forgot to accept mission and nearly got to my destination without realising - duh!

Just bought my hauler though and nearly on my first half million so nice little start to build on now.

Not yet, though I have forgotten which way you need to be facing to land and beaten up the pad wondering why I won't attach. ^^

That still happens to me sometimes :)
Check the mission destination, plot a route, launch, fly to the destination, wondering why there is no mission to cash in, facepalm [redface]

didnt forget docking but nearly ended up as a crimson splat on Coriolis exterior :) dumped the goldwinder now in a shiny eagle with 180k but bed time for me i think

I got all flustered during a smuggling mission once, belly-flopping the pad repeatedly...

"WHY WONT IT LET ME DOCK, WHAT IS WR-oh wait..."

*landing gear deployed*

I'm going pretty good with landing actually. I'm only using the dual shock controller so I spent a couple of hours replaying the various tutorials until I was at least partially comfortable with how I remapped the controls. And its hard to forget needing to request docking as every station booms it at you upon approach.

However, on my third or fourth data delivery run, on approach I was about 4 metres above the landing pad and I got the alarm stating I'd forgotten the landing gear. I panicked, hit a bunch of buttons and ended up boosting myself right into the station surface. Luckily I was close enough I didn't pick up too much speed before I hit and only lost 2% hull. No fine either.

Nope. But I have crashed into the letterbox of a station while attempting to enter and land, on two separate occasions at the SAME station, lol.

Thankfully I was moving at a crawl, and just bounced off.

Normal landing pads, no problem. The letterbox was my weakness on Frontier too :O
