Would have been nice to know this up front , may have limited some of the exodus. Just doesn't look thought through a reaction, so many questions could have been prepared for, instead just stick out a statement instead and hope for the best. Would have appreciated a more dedicated post or even pre recorded stream attempting to answer those questions. It's that what shows their reaction wasn't thought through easier to isolate an entire community and just move onto the next big thing. Very disappointed in frontier ! an opinion held by a lot of console Cmdrs, reputation isn't easy to get back once lost......

If nothing is changing that means Galnet and CGs are static...so it's very unclear from their statement that Horizons will get any Galnet or CGs (as that would be a change). I did see they replied to a comment on FB or Twitter that said Horizons would get CGs that they are capable of participating and would not get CGs that require Odyssey functions.
It seems like it should be pretty straightforward, but it really isn't. A CM somewhere should, probably won't, clarify exactly what we can expect to continue and what will cease with Horizons.
Last week average number of friends online = 2.

Yeah but how long will the server be on, 1 year 2 years 5 years? People need to know to see if it worth playing
I used to have roughly 20-25 friends on-line... a bit more for combat CGs (as we do most combat stuff).

I think he's looking for stability in a game he's devoted to, surely you can understand that considering how recent circumstances were handled. Information is dripping out with no official clarification on here so yeah I would like to know also will it be within a month a year etc or just on a whim. Frontier could just go yeah maybe this weekend nobody needs to know do they, communication nah.......
I doubt if it goes beyond a year. Frontier and there remaining playerbase look upon console players as a malignant tumor that needs to be excised.
Worse. They've taken a long hard look at our community and decided, no, we're not worth the bother.
We never did get to walk on a planet.
We never did get to see the new ice worlds.
We never did get to drive a new SRV.
We never did see what's in Col 70.
We never did go into Horsehead Nebula.
And we never will. What a waste of time.

I'm pretty sure it was vague on purpose. They probably don't know yet, what they will consider new content, or if they will even be able to support what Braben said they sould support in the announcement. I'm sure his public relations peeps told him to be as vague as possible, while also seeming like he was being as specific as possible.
My Sqn went into meltdown over the weekend. Today has been silent so far.that's really sad, buddy.
