So excited for Odyssey

I'll be excited when the alpha drops, but not before.

Unless Frontier announce the macOS client is returning, then I'll be over the moon (but not on it obviously).

As eloquent and brutal as ever.

Do you intend to start playing regularly again when Odyssey releases ?

Haven't seen you online for a long time old friend.

Yeah, I've only been logging on a bit here and there to do some quick testing. Have been taking a break while I tried to source a new GPU, but I managed to snag a 6800XT the other day. Had to pay about $300 over MSRP, but it was from Newegg. So, I may be getting scalped, but it's got a warranty and a return policy. Still looking for a 3080 too, but having something roughly comparable will allow me to hold off on that until I can get one at a more sane price.

I do plan on playing regularly again once the Odyssey alpha/beta drops as my new system should be together and tested by then.

New sights to see, new bugs to report, old enemies to shoot, and a whole new shadow profile to correct...

I'm excited about tomorrow, will be a sunny day and I can fire up my motorbike again!! 🏍
It's the damn corona virus here that limits me riding more, basically there just nowhere to go.
I usually put about 8K miles on my bike a year, but these last 12 months - just 1000.
I live in North Texas - we ride 12 months a year around here.
Might go out to garage and just start it up and let her run a little.

Ugh, where do you live, we're getting the first snowstorm in years tomorrow. I'm in the Netherlands btw.
Tuscany,Italy's West Coast we had rain since November,my garden is a swamp, mountains around here been snowy like never happened since years, up to two meters deep from 1000 to 2000 meters altitude and because of Covid we can't even ski....

Ooh, Italy is beautiful, we went to Sapri in Salerno two years ago, before covid, and loved it there, especially the local food!!!
We haven't had snow in years but they're expecting a blizzard tonight and tomorow with 75kmph gusts and a lot of snow and probably some snowdunes too, next week we're getting frost down to minus twelve.
Time to get my ice-skates from the attic.

Yeah the GPU supply situation is quite frankly a mess at the moment and has not improved much since launch.

I paid £1900 for my 3090 on eBay which is pretty savage but ive always been happy to pay the premium to get a card at launch because i want the performance.

How is the 6800XT performing in initial tests, happy with it ?
