So far, I’m actually profiting from having free entrance to my zoo as the guests go refund crazy

Even with max happiness my guests will demand a refund 100% of the time when they exit the zoo, so I figured I’d make entry free so they could’t refund anything. And it worked! Though I obviously took a major dip in profits as everyone else, I can at least make money instead of going down in flames. Most of my income comes from donations, and it barely beats the expenses. So yeah, there’s a tip for all of you until Frontier fixes the refund bug. I hope.

Haha, I like this solution..

I was able to fix this by adding a few new animals, more shops and more staff.. And sold a lot of animals to lower the feeding costs, only a couple animals per exhibit..
The exhibits aren't crowded as much (shame) but making a good profit now..

Interesting solution, but I'm not sure I completely follow. When a guest asks for a refund, is it only the ticket price that's refunded to them? If so, are you suggesting that the free entrance cost gives them more money to donate or shop with? Otherwise, your profit margin would remain the same whether the tickets were free or if 100% of the guests asked for a full ticket price refund. Apologies if I am just clueless; I haven't had any refund problems of note. Thanks.

Wow, thanks for the Tip. I hope it works in my Zoo. Why would a Zoo even pay Refunds for the Ticket-Price? This would be like going in a Cinema, watch a whole Movie and then want a Refund. It makes no Sense. I would understand if it would be Refunds for Shops

I think zoos should only refund if certain animals escape.

In real life, if you got chased around the park by an angry lion, they'd probably give you your money back, not so much if it was a peahen though..

The only Animals that are escaping in my Zoo are sometimes Red ruffed Lemurs and sometimes a Baby-Ardvaark from my Elephant-Enclosure because I find no Solution to make it impossible for them to escape trough the Jeep-Gate. And this doesn't happen every 2 Minutes. This couldn't be the Reason
