I'll admit I'm posting this just to be a little ray of sunshine, but also understanding that there's no reason for people to be interested in my experience, specifically.
So far, everything has worked ok, and I've been pleased. I expected four things based on watching Frontier's livestreams: one more weapon type, more base configurations, general bug fixes, and graphics optimizations.
I feel like for me, they delivered exactly that. I'm getting 60 fps consistently everywhere and haven't asked for more (this is better than alpha for me), and the rocks have stopped moving around disturbingly. I told myself I'd only think of a copy for my alt account if they delivered at least what I expected.
So I was actually surprised to see the posts here that indicated optimization doesn't see to have been successful. Maybe I'll wait to buy a second copy in solidarity. I hope they fix it for everyone.
My only secret is that I play on a 1280x720 display. So for that size, things have improved (for me).
