Sorry, I've never really liked the Cobra. Didn't hate it, but certainly didn't love it.
It would also literally be the best ship in the game with a buff.
Perhaps not so much a buff, more a beige [hehe]
Some might suggest the Python is the pinnacle of Cobra technology.
I remember the days when the cobra was the best (well only) player ship in the Elite universe and while others could do single things better, it could compete with everything in every area.
While it may not be logical, I certainly wouldn't complain if the Cobra was buffed for a new version, particularly as I'm trying to fly only a Cobra on my 2nd account without access to a mkIV on that one.

I predict the Cobra MkV to be a re-release of the MkIII with an apology note about the MkIV free with every ship.
