So, Frontier, about those paint jobs that exist in-game, but aren't currently buyable...

Any plans to release any of these skins that exist in-game right now that we currently can't buy? There's plenty out there! Today I came across this pirate Cobra duo, and they had a particularly neat design...

Yes I was flying a Dropship. Forgot I had one stored at Altair, so I took it out for a spin.

Not to mention the plethora of security force matching paint jobs I see in RESs all the time! There are some rather nice Annie paint jobs out there. I notice on the PC skins store, that there's some squadron skins that are new to me. Edit: I see they're on the Xbox store now too.

I saw the squadron skins last night, too!
I think they were only for a couple of ships though (annie, asp, and a couple others).

Yea I'm sure ive seen a phoenix/firebird paintjob on a cobra too but that's not available either, and it was ages ago. It looked good too

Lol I was browsing the latest clips/screenshots on the ED game hub hours ago and saw this picture. I saw the GT and thought, "Is that Nef from the forums?"

Yeah, I put everything to engines so I could out maneuver the Cobra and get a screenshot of his skin. ^_^

I think it's going to be a case of "SoonTM". At least when it's out on PC it'll be out on Xbox as well. No more waiting and watching in awe.

Well Squadron skins came out at the same time for both platforms.

...albeit they had some problems making them actually show up in people's outfitting, but I think that was on PC too.

Either way, the whole reason they rebuilt the game on Xbox One is to be able to push updates out on Xbox -almost- in sync with PC. And something like texture swaps will be relatively quick to implement. They're already in the game, as one can tell. It's a matter of putting them up on the store.
