So got my DK2 a few days ago.....

Set-up my DK2 as per the instructions booted up ED set the graphics settings to work with the rift and must say I was very disappointed. I then spent 30 mins messing about trying to figure out why everything was so blurry when I turn my head and why when keeping my head still the graphics looks flickery like its at a really low refresh rate. I then decided to re-install my Catalyst drivers and boom, no flicker, no blurry effects while looking around and I'm instantly in love.

I then decide to take it to my mates to try out and now he wants one. Bring it back home plug it in and now there's slight blurry vision and the flicker of certain lines is back and my screen occasionally goes grey. tried un-installing and re-installing CCC god knows how many times and no matter what I do I just cant seem to get it back to the way it was when I got it working perfectly.

I'm at the end of my tether with it now as I know how good it is when it's running perfectly but can't seem to get it back to that way.

Same USB Ports than before?
All Wires connected?
Also tried to reinstall the Oculus Drivers?

Could it be a Problem with the last ED Patch?

The grey/desaturation is when you go out of the positional tracking cameras view.. the camera needs to be at least a meter from you, or the cone if view is way to small.

Also if you have any bright lights in range of the camera it will confuse the tracking and it cannot differentiate between the IR tracking dots on the headset between light/reflections in the background.

For the second part of the flicker, makes sure all connections are solid.

Should've gone nVidia. ;)

Sorry you're having trouble man. :(

Oh and just to check, you haven't got any override on vsync in ccc have you? And you're defo using extended mode?

Also make sure you have a powered USB hub for both camera AND the headset. You can use the powerbrick for the headset but the camera also needs sufficient power too. The onboard USB slots won't cut it.

Alot of the jittering and definitely the grey/desaturation is headtracking camera related - I used to have the same problem before I researched it up in both the Oculus official forums and Reddit.
The common theme I got out of it was to try a powered USB hub for both first before trying other more specific fixes.

Thankfully the powered USB hub option fixed all my problems. Been working perfectly for months now. Touch wood.
