Last time I had a "job", as it were, was in 2010, at a now closed stables.

For the last few years since then, I've been looking for something to replace it.

Over the past weekend, it looks like I finally have something. My mum has a friend at her work, who owns a fairly large piece of land. On this land she has animals, including two horses.

This is great, as my greatest skill in life is horse-care. Every horse owner I've met seems to be rather impressed with my natural affinity with the animals.

Well, my mum and her friend worked something out, and it now looks like I'll be going to this field quite often to do helpful stuff. Might even get to drive a tractor. :D

Life's looking pretty good right now. I finally have something to look forward to every week. Well, that & you awesome guys here in the Elite community.

Love you all. The social skills I've learned here, speaking to people I've never met before, has helped me a lot with being comfortable at the new field from the get-go.

EDIT: Yes, I know, this is the gaming forum. Already requested a move. :)

Yeah, I've been sat inside for years, ever since the old stables got closed down.

Now this new place is smaller in itself. I've gone from being in charge of eleven horses to looking after two, plus some geese & chickens, but the owner of the field knows people. Who knows where I'll go during my time in the country... :)

Very nice place. Living in a busy town, it's lovely to get away from all traffic & just be surrounded by fields & trees.
