So, has anyone else spotted...

...the distant extra planet and orbiting moon in Incursion yet?

I'm sure I can't be the first:

Flying a bit closer you can see it quite clearly

Good spot anyway!

Don't remember anyone mentioning it before.

Aye spotted them a couple of months back.

You can also see them from the station position in Zelada. Might be the same ones not sure. There's also another body that can be seen from the Zelada asteroids as well IIRC.

Can't wait to check them out with supercruise.

You should be able to get closer if you leave it running, but it'll take a bloody long time at 220m/s :)

Yes I did see that off in the distance. Was wondering if it was always there or was suddenly added in with 3.4

Are they moving in orbit? If so, it might not be possible to reach them at that speed.

The Zelada system in Frontier: First Encounters (click for gazeteer entry)

In the Frontier games, Zelada [1,4] was quite a complex system. A couple of big gas giants, a red dwarf and a type 'M' star orbit the Zelada A,B binary (a pair of stars orbiting each other), with a menagerie of planets orbiting them in turn.

The nearby planet in the alpha is most likely New Africa - the blue blob above the word "bodies" in the centre of the picture, orbiting the star Zelada C. That would make the other planet Zelada C4 and its moon Zelada C4a.

prety sure it wont stay at the same place, iota crucis is the other way around and if zelada is 1LY from it that puts in rather "south" than "north" from sol(or more like roughtly in the direction of alpha centauri if you want).

From Space engine.

and not sure about the configuration. its says zelada 2 around this earth like planet, and if it's the same one as the one orbiting this red star, then why the star isnt red? or the planet simply called new africa? i think it's fair to say zelada wont look like the old system.
