So here's a dumb question. How do you supercharge your FSD?

You enter the system with the funky disco star. What do I do?

What maneuver do I make to boost my FSD?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Do it like this (this is from CMDR MackTheHunter):

Practice in a ship you can afford to lose first!

I find white dwarfs much harder as the plume is much smaller and closer to the exclusion zone.

I tend to approach the star head on and then align with the jet and enter it facing away from the star and cut throttle. Once charged full throttle.

In my experience if you hit the exclusion zone in the jet you are dead as you cannot align with the escape vector. If you drop out in the jet before the exclusion zone you can just low wake away with some damage.

Once charged note your range and find a suitably distant star on the galmap and off you go.
