LostWinds So, how do you move the King in LostWinds2 (iPhone) as you can't slipstream him?

So, in LostWinds2 on iPhone, you can't slipstream the king, only tap on him to move him and tap where you want him to go. (literally what the instructions say during the game) You can gust him a TINY bit, but slipstream, no. :S:S:S

Therefore, given this issue, I am stuck at Summerfalls Ravine (with the King in tow) as I struggle to move him around. I can bounce him once high in the air off the mushroom at the bottom, but since I can't slipstream him, I can't move him to the right for the next mushroom. :S I need to get him up to the top of Summerfalls Ravine, so we can both exit top right, and make our way to The Great Bridge, and up towards The Palace, which is highlighted in yellow and red on my map.

Any thoughts on this? I noticed in the last bit of guide I was given, that it said to slipstream the king, but the iPhone version says specifically to tap the king once and then tap on the place you want him to go. The problem is that he can only climb tiny steps, and I can only gust him a bit, so I really can't get him up to the top of Summerfalls Ravine.

I'm assuming if I walked out of Summerfalls Ravine by myself, I would then lose the king and that would be very bad! LOL

So, anyone have any thoughts on how to get the king to the top of the ravine in the iPhone version?

Am at the same place and position as you are!! ( Summerfalls Ravine)
Couldn't slipstream the king up on the new ipad. Have tried to go back but unable to get the king to jump/slipstream up a higher place. Any help would be appreciated.

Here's the section of the guide for that part of the game:

SUMMERFALLS RAVINE
Head to the right and deal with any enemies. Burn down the barrier with the fire which is close by. Drop from the ledge and you and the King will land in a pool. Take the King to the left so that he exits the pool.
Use the Sonté Statue here to turn the season to winter. Now, head over the ice and Vortex the King, who will sing and open the crystal doors. Take out the Glorbs on the right and leave the screen.

But, Michael, doing what you said will only get the King to the Great Bridge Base. In this place, you can ho to the Palace, but FLYING, wich, again, we can't doing with the king! Even with the vortex, the King just move a bit!

There's two ways to go to the Palace, both from Summerfalls Ravine: The Great Bridge (in the air) and Great Bridge Base, in the ground, BUT, once you in Great Bridge Base, you will need fly to go to the other scenario.

How can I get the King for any way, since he can't fly...?

Here's the guide for that part of the game, it should get you going again:

GREAT BRIDGE BASE
Walk to the right and kill the Glorbs here. Stand on the elevator with the King and have him sing to move up. To the right you will reach a hollow that the King cannot get over. Make him sit at the top of it.
With Toku, head over to the left and hit the Sonté Statue. Yay summer. Go past the hollow and you will see a pool of water. Use a Cyclone, create a cloud, Gust it over to the left and make it rain in the hollow. You will need to do this twice to fill the hollow up as much as possible. Now, go over to the left and make it winter again.
You can now walk over the ice and you will reach an icy wall. Make the King sit, and then return to the Sonté Statue for a final time. It should now be summer. Return to the King and have him sing his song. This will unlock the door to the right.
Collect the Melodia Idol and kill the Glorbs. Vortex the King again and he will open the door behind. Head inside.

Oh I just got it. You have to vortex the fruit and smash it directly onto the bridge, then loop round to get the king to follow you down to the mushroom.
