So how does one turn off the orbit lines then?

I've gone through graphics options, controls and never mind it's in Functions :D Just had to start typing a thread so my brain would fill in the obvious.

Orbit lines toggle. NOT WORKING??

This is a great feature im sure but it does not work for me, i can hear a sound when i hit OFF but nothing happens. ANY SUGGESTIONS PLEASE?

Does the option actually toggle to say "off" or does it still say "on" after clicking it? Also, do some of the other options on that tab not working either? If so, there is a fix that should get it to work right.

I'm at work trying to type this on a tiny keyboard on my phone, so please bear with me...
Go to your:
C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Frontier Developments\Elite Dangerous\Options\ folder, and remove the "Player" folder. This will force the game to reinstall the folder and all the files inside. That fixed the problem for me and a few other players.

It looks cool SCing around with the orbit lines off, but I prefer them on as it lets see how the system is structured, and I always use the plane of the star system as a guide while approaching my destination. Hope this info helps.
