So how is the best way to rank with a minor faction?

Looking to collect permits. I just wanted to hear what was the best ways to rank up to allied.
Not just "Run Missions" which ones? Which ones are better,easier,pays best?

Each mission will have an indicator to how much rep and influence you can affect. If you want to gain rep towards allied, look for high rep missions. If you want to help the minor faction gain power, do the high inf ones.

Each mission has a reputation value and an influence value. You want reputation. Just pick ones that give medium or high reputation and you'll do just fine. Pay is a different matter. It should be obvious which ones pay the best as each mission tells you up front. Shadow missions pay the best in general, but they aren't always very common. Concentrate on your reputation and the credits will come anyway.

Note that minor faction reputation (as opposed to naval ranking) can increase from non-mission activities. If you turn in BH/CZ vouchers, exploration data, or do massive trades with a station owned by the minor faction, you can also increase your influence with them.

If they are the controlling faction of the station it's easiest just to turn in a bunch of major faction or in system bounties or exploration data and you'll be there lickety split, otherwise you're looking for high rep missions. IIRC those are assassinations, kill x number of y, charity, secret deliveries (data or goods).
