So how many actually made it to Beagle point?

Do we have any official statistics/figures/analysis on numbers making it to BP and numbers who fell by the wayside? I know this is a difficult one to establish but it would be good to collate figures and see where we all stand on return as an expedition. It would be interesting to see collaborative figures combining DWE and FGE CMDRs. We all flew together on this exped at the end of the day.
1. Definitive number of CMDRs who signed up.
2. Number of CMDRs who made it to Beagle Point.
3. Number of CMDRs who didn't make it to Beagle Point.
4. Number of CMDRS who 'made it home' from Beagle Point.
5. Number of CMDRs who didn't make it home from Beagle Point.
Just wondered.

According to Michael Brooke's comments on the FD livesteam, 1,300 pilots took part, and up until last week 450 had made it to Beagle Point. :)

Dr Kaii is still working on the lists for FD, so we'll have a firm number once that's done.

That's still a lot more than I expected, and the FGE fleet will be coming later on too. I have to say I'm impressed that so many made it.

I seem to have seen 1,000 Anacondas and 50 ASPs at Beagle Point. Anacondas on the ground. Anacondas in the sky. Anacondas everywhere. [noob]

It was when I arrived at WP5 (I think) and parked in a line of Anacondas I became insanely jealous of the dude in the Cobra for standing out. It was that moment I regretted leaving my explora-clipper at home. I went back to get it.

At WP8 I regretted not painting it purple. Oh well.

I got Cobra Envy too. I really think the 2 that made it in Couriers need their heads examining. All the other silly ships are great, but a Courier ? Just PAIN

Courier is almost the same as a Cobra Mk III. The person I have respect for, although I question their sanity, is the FedVette.

Also a little surprised no one came out in an Adder.

A Courier is great for Canyon Racing. Especially beyond the Abyss where every fault costs ~50M Crds. Exploration Data.

I'd still love to see one or two more exploration vessels in the game. There are many good combat craft or traders, but exploration is completely dominated by two vessels - and both of those are quite multi-purpose, not even exploration optimised.

And the stat I'm most amazed with? Trolls = 0!

Its not the range, its the overheating when you do so much as turn on the lights that impresses me. Must have worn asbestos underwear

Well, the arrivals thread is currently at 34 pages, with 15 posts per page, so roughly 500 or so have reported in, give or take :)

I did! :D

Wot, no Adder? No FdL? No Viper Mk III? No Asp Scout? No Diamondback Scout? No Eagle? NO FAS? No FGS? No Vulture? No Orca?
I think a search party may be in order.

Ed the Community Manager has an ASP Scout and he made it without DEV Superpower! :) (However with DW Teamwork Superpower. ;) )
