Really? I thought it was free for a limited time.

Either way I'm sure there are new Commanders who are enjoying the game (excluding backwards PWA and borked Megaship Piracy of course).

When Epic gives away games they are simply free to purchase for that period, but you then own them permanently. It's not a "free fly" limited access deal.

I still use my Epic free account.

It is my alt account and that Cmdr will stay in the starter system(s) for now. My regular account has been busy with the latest CG's since the mining NERF.

Combat buff was a good start, although it needs to be 2x more in my opinion.

Alot of ships still pay 5-15k in top right of screen and all seem to get 4x multiplier in left nav transaction tab. I have yet to see a bounty get above 4x in the transaction tab compared to the top right for the normal and high res extraction sites I have been collecting bounties in.

A better question would be, were any of the free epic accts sold even new players at all? Or is it just fake numbers pretending to be new players when its really all just people who are already playing the game and don't really mean anything at all statistically.....
