So I am trying the Keelback...is it made from a scrapyard?

I still have my Keelback from way back, and I still take it out from time to time. It's well armed, well armored, and Engineered all the way to Friday after Next.
It sort of a flying Brinks, and yes, the canopy needs cleaned, badly.

I was debating with myself if I should go a 100M Gunship or the 15M Keelback to play a bit with fighters. Since I already got a Python and an FDL and I am not really loving the large ships because my mind is set elsewhere. (Where is my panther Clipper!).

But the Gunship is another one that needs some FD love that the Keelback just got.

What do you want for nearly nothing? It is a decent, small ship. A bargain ship at a bargain price. Like the Keelback? Try the T-6!

It's a small medium sized ship with a SLF hangar. How cool is that?
It indeed looks like a hippy bus and can be used for that perfectly. ADS, DSS, SRV and SLF together with a huge fuel scoop - ideal for the magical mystery tour among the stars.

Inside the bubble it has enough cargo space for missions, incl. passenger missions that have nice payouts.

All for almost no cost and a really low re-buy.

Adding DDT rank 5 and FSD increase rank 5 mods helps a lot :)

I will turn my 'anti shaking' off, I want to experience this buss from the 80's - it will be like living the rough life in trucking :)

I'm also looking forward to 'window cleaning' at stations. A QOL improvment and totaly nonsensical - needless to say it will build up again.

Personally I really like it. Even the clunky boost rattle that sounds like the thrusters are missing a couple of their anchor bolts. :)
I'm glad everything doesn't feel like a ferrari. Sometimes you need that old pickup truck to get the job done.

With the Keelback and T6 I always feel like I'm sat in a flying conservatory with the panes on the cockpit. As for the keelback's construction, it reminds me of when Blue Peter made Tracy Island out of three empty bog roll tubes and a cornflakes box.

It even has a hidden launch ramp for Thunderbird 2 an SLF! Though if I find palm trees growing out of mine, questions will be asked. Urgent questions.

I fully agree :D

More power to you, but quite a few people (including me, and I don't usually get motion sick without some severe sleep deprivation) went completely cross-eyed from that experience, so that setting can be a dogsend :D Those ships and in part the Asp Explorer were just mostly unusable to that demographic before it went in.
