So I dropped out of supercruise right by the Black Hole at HD 239729 :)

Had an absolute amazing day with exploration... i've had a mid-way point set for the last week of HD 239729 which I knew had a black hole within the system, so I paused before jumping in, not knowing what to expect.. upon jumping I then find i have to travel a further 500,000LS to get to the black hole which I then went for.. once there, treading carefullly, i make the decision to dance with the devil in the pale moonlight :)

I present to you my first waltz with a black hole.. not the biggest.. no not by sagittarius a* standards,but i'm sure you'll agree the sight and raw sound of the presence of a black hole, is a wonderous thing. Thank you frontier developments for making this amazing game!

Thank you for noticing :) I deliberately muted in game music, and killed my music player too, wanted to totally highlight the aura that just the sound effects alone created for this amazing part of Elite Dangerous. I trekked to it listening to the soundtrack from Interstellar (hans zimmer), but once there, decided on the mute of music in all areas.... glad you like that!! thank you!

It will be the best moment of all of the exploration you've done thusfar. Trust me on that. I've quoted the name of the one I went to, and by all means go there if you want one thats fairly short haul to get to. She's a great dance partner.. totally.

Definitely the highlight of my week, so very glad to have had that on my route out in to the black.
