So I finally did that Raptor and Dilophosaur mission

The one on Muerta everyone was saying was too hard and it gave them problems. I failed it once. The second time I did it right, I think cause it said mission completed. The first time it said let them fight to the death so I did. Then I got a mission failure cause one of the Dinosaurs died. I was seriously annoyed. The second time the raptors nearly drove me insane. They kept breaking out. I finally got all 5 of them back into the enclosure and managed to keep the mission objective one in till the timer ran out. It was a real challenge IMO.

Then I had them all taken off the island by selling them. I did a few more missions to get my science rep up so I could do the science mission on Muerta and this one ended in failure as well. The sick Diplodocus they sent me is pretty picky. It's comfort level fell quick and trying to balance out it's need for grassland and forest is one of the most annoying things ever. I have it in my old raptor pen on the island. It's not a large enclosure but it's not really small either. I think I may have to make it bigger, I don't know. I will try again later today.

I am still enjoying the game despite these annoying missions. :D

That's actually pretty interesting since the Diplodocus I had for that mission was absolutely fine with no issues! It was completely comfortable since the moment I got it until the day it died. And with the sick Metriacanthosaurus, I ended up putting it in with my 3 Ceratosaurs as I needed some space... needless to say it got eaten [haha]

In that mission I modified the Dilo so that I could kill the raptor. It is not the same that a Dilo escapes that requires less needs than two raptors who are more dangerous are escaped.

Logically it was easier to contain the Dilo.

I failed the mission the other night, with the Dilophosaurus dying... It says 'fight to the death', so how do you actually complete the mission?

I completed the mission the first time, I was still using that enclosure they give you at the start with the two hammond creation labs, I incubated one dilophosaurus in one and a velociraptor in the other and released them at the same time. They both fought to the death, the velociraptor ended up winning, then after that it said to keep the victor contained for a certain amount of time. I'm not quite sure what part people are having trouble with?

One mission is security and the other is entertainment. Cancel the entertainment if you have it active and make safety first with the death fight. Then you must active entertainment mission raising new raptors and Dilo in separate enclosures or they will fight again.

You can just put the diplo in the first enclosure you get from start and he would be satisfied.
