So I finally got Muerta unlocked and Nublar

I got Muerta unlocked and Nublar. It's honestly not as small as people made it out to be. But it could probably use a little more room. I don't have enough stuff unlocked to have any fun on Nublar though. It's going to be a while. I haven't played a game this much in a long time. I spent 3 hours straight the other day playing the game.

Also don't even bother putting the Dracorex in some big enclosure with a bunch of Dinosaurs or the Crichtonsaurus. Just build them small enclosures and stick them in it. I have an electrical fence around the Dracorex enclosure I made. I found out the hard way when they busted through the fence and dropped my park rating to 2 stars. I had nearly a 4 star rating. I hope all the Dinosaurs don't act this way cause I like big multi Dinosaur enclosures. I did the same with the Crichtonsaurus. I stuck them in a smaller enclosure with two and they haven't been a problem.

So far my favorite Dinosaurs are the Struthiomimus, Edmontosaurus, Triceratops, Huayangosaurus. Why? Cause they can be put into one big enclosure and they behave. Also the Ceratosaurus. My Ceratos have been nothing but great. They don't try and escape, they don't freak out and they never get sick. They kill any Dinosaur I drop into the enclosure and you can stick two of them in one enclosure and they don't kill each other. I can't say the same for the herbivores which get sick every so often.

Dracorex don't play well with other dinosaurs for some reason, the other herbivores are good. Carnivores are mindless killing machines and will kill anything that isn't the same species for some reason.

Started playing last night - unlocked Muerta and Nublar the same evening (but stayed on Matanceros) - mind you, I did stop playing at about 00:45....

Thoroughly enjoying it so far.

I found out that five Ceratosaurus don't play nicely - two lost fights, permanently.

I'm enjoying it too much, sometimes when I create an enclosure it always ends up being small haha ... maybe it's my vision, anyway I have not had any problems besides that with the Parasaurs and with the long necks, I still need adapt to their needs because only I have acquired their comfort is the Diplodocus and Apatosaurus (separated in different enclosures) from there the brachios and others always end up escaping, I know I'm wrong with one thing

Oh! I forgot, the Indominus Rex is very bipolar, in fact I call it "Lisa" as my wife hahahahaha

Literally have to agree with all you said, my 2 ceratasaurs have been brilliant. Had problems with Dilophosaurus and Ankylosurus.

the ceratosaurus are always very good, in each island I have an enclosure with 3 ceratos genetically modified and it helps a lot to the qualification of the park and the variety. And in the Ankylosaurus it's a strange thing, in my parks they've always been very calm, in fact I've never had problems with them, I love having them!

He them in an enclosure with Huayangosaurus and Chungkingosaurus. I ended up selling them.

Oh, here is detail ... my Ankys have an enclosure only for them, I have always seen the anky as a solitary species, and from the beginning it was what I did ... just have an enclosure for them x3 or x4

usually, do not join species unless they are tolerated, for example I had problems with the chasmosaurus in my enclosure of Torosaurus and Triceratops, so I decided to remove them from there, find out that the Styraco can also be quietly in that enclosure so now I have three species there and they all have their high comfort.

Nublar might not feel small to start with, it's bigger than Matanceros to be sure. However, unlock ~20 or so species then try and fit everything in.

I just unlocked Isla Tacano last night, I'm progressing quickly but the game is so damn time consuming! I started playing around 8pm last night and before I knew it, it was 5am.

The Ceratosaurus is definitely my go-to dino when starting out an island, especially at 100% genome or mods so it maximizes ratings. On Muerta every other dinosaur I had kept panicking and breaking out during storms but the two Ceratosaurus never broke out or never got agitated.

Also, good luck on Isla Muerta. It's more annoying than it is challenging. Wait til you get the raptor vs. Dilo security mission! ;) Glad I got that over with lol

For that mission before I even started I made sure there was tons of shelters and turned them on and waited till every last person was gone.

Then proceeded.

Same here! The most annoying part though was the timer where the victorious dino had to stay in an enclosure. Of course the electrified heavy steel fence wasn't available until after the damn mission, so every minute he kept breaking out, had to open the shelters, get the ACU heli, ranger to repair, etc. Repeated this like four times until the timer finally went to zero and was so relieved when it said mission completed..

I think you miss understand. I never let the people leave the shelters. Money keeps going up regardless. I left them in there for almost 3 hours of game play while I did the dangerous missions so lawsuits didn't effect my income. Lol

Really, you can do that? I thought I read somewhere that if you keep visitors in shelters for too long it has negative impacts? That would have made it a little easier, it was still annoying constantly recapturing the damn raptor.

If there was I didn't really notice. At that point I was already at 7 mil with 400 thousand profit per minute. I wasn't really worried.

I finished the island at 3 stars (did all the missions) with 13 mil and gonna move to the next island then go back later to max 5 stars.
