So I have a question.

When development ends I have heard people will be able to create new animals (via mods or smthing) and put them on the steam workshop. I was wondering if anyone could explain this to me.
Thank you. I am probably being stupid tho.

Alternate Question. @Leaf Productions, I was wondering if you had a video or smthing to explain how to use the scenery mods.

I think that was just thinking out loud ideas or something, I can never see this happening with the whole anti mod rules on the forum. Anyways the only benefit is that you would 'cut out the middleman' in regards to the nexus installation

Mods with new animals already exist for the game. Their obviously not as detailed as the animals made by frontier but simpler ones are almost perfect. They can be found on the nexus mods websites. Leaf on yt has some good tutorials.

The problem with them is that they have to be updated with every game update that one's out which is time consuming. When support ends there will be no more updates so you won't have to waste time updating mods and they'll be easier to use.

I believe Colehunter is referring to how Planet Coaster had the Thememaker Toolkit, which allowed users to mod scenery and the like and upload it to Steam.

I am not sure if Planet Zoo will get one, but I think that if Frontier released an Animal Toolkit, which allowed players to make custom animals and upload them, that would be amazing and a great way to prolong the life of the game
