So, I have this ever increasing bounty....

... Because I couldn't seem to farm PP merits in an Anarchy.
And decided to go to a high security system instead and wreak havoc.
Lol

I'm holding on to it for now, but it's currently sat at 65,000cr, and climbing, hopefully hitting real high bounties!

When I'm done with this PowerPlay malarkey, I have an idea...

I think I'm going to invite some newbies to a challenge (Assuming I don't die in the mean time).

They pick my ship, but I pick the loadout, from what's available in the system I'm wanted. (Ship has to be available there too).
Hopefully I'll have a mahusive bounty.
They wing up, and then...

...we fight!

I'm terrible at PvP, so it'll be funny.
It's also a high security system, so security will join in too, and quickly.

I won't combat log*, obviously, or attempt to flee, or use any engineered equipment.

I'll probably host this session in my own PG to prevent any interference.

Sound fun?

That does sound like fun.

Newbies would welcome the chance for a bit of fun and combat coupled with a nice payout at the end.

I think that is a great idea.
I wish I had thought of it when I had a 13 mil bounty on my head when I was killing Archon Delaine criminals in one of his systems.

(I decided against buying beta, mainly because my internet is too slow to download it! But partly because I'm poor. Lol)

Now, I just need to get out of work to grind this bounty up!

Some lucky newbie is gonna be happy. :p
Assuming 1) I find one who doesn't think it's a trap.
2) I don't die.
3) I don't accidentally kill them.

I've also ground? grinded? enough merits to last be another two weeks without doing anything for LYR. Lol
No stopping me getting my missiles now! Mwhahahahahah.
Unless I made a maths boo boo.

Some of my bounties aren't from PP ships though. They're from the bounty hunters who kept pestering me. Lol

Keeping in tradition of Elite Logic. I'm still allied or friendly with all the local factions. Lol
I even managed to dock my Anaconda in system to rearm. :D

I wonder what the largest player bounty from a single faction any player has ever generated?

I once tried to stack up a crazy huge bounty, got it up to around 1m Cr and then moved on because I got bored.

Funnily enough, I wonder if this is a clever way of exploiting the game to transfer Cr between players: i.e. one player racks up a MASSIVE bounty, then lets the other player kill him to take the credits :p

I wonder if there are any in built limitations to it?

I believe there is a limit. 1,000,000 credits comes to mind but there's a very good chance I could be (typically) wrong there.

Basically, this thread is everything wrong with the bounty system. :p

I've racked up a bounty bigger than any other NPC, yet I can more or less move freely around, dock, chat with the locals, while cooking dinner. Only being pestered by annoyingly bad bounty hunters, who usually attack me where I'm not wanted...
And when I'm done, I'm simply suiciding it to a newbie. Hopefully.
300,000cr is nothing to me, it'll take me all of 1 minute in a RES to recoup that. Lol
