So, i hop on my n00b account to help out in the baby bubble...

I find mining missions. So, desiring to experience the new player mining experience, I fit up a hauler!!! But, wait... what cant you buy in the n00b systems? Prospector limpets... mining missions... size ONE bins... with no PROSPECTORS to choose the ONE thing that is mission specific... wow... FDEV strikes again!!!

Sounds like a good idea, deep core for noobs would be a bit unbalancing.
What about laser mining?

Honestly, they should give us a pilots federation district visitor pass if we have a wing mate in the noob zone, as long as we dont have pirate modules

Strange, I will start worrying about starter systems when those that the systems are intended for, i.e new players to the game, start complaining about the lack of amenities. I would guess that not too many stay one minute longer than they have to there, hence the lack of 'good things' being available.

I've heard others who started an Alt in order to try the new new-player experience and they said there are several modules unavailable in the limited-access systems. One I recall mentioned is a Frame Shift Driver Interdictor. Pirating is not for newbs - or start-over-ers!

Prospector limpets increase the yield of a rock. You can prospect with a mining laser, ie by seeing what breaks off in the chunks. You just don't get so much yield.

That sounds about right for a Noob Zone .... don't want them picking up advanced toys too early.

There are no hatch-breaker controllers to be had either in any of the noob-zone outfitting stations. Rather stupid when they offer rescue etc training missions.
