Ship Builds & Load Outs Imperial Cutter So I just bought a Cutter... tips for loadout?

Best weapons for the Cutter are the thrusters. Your main weapon is SPED 2 RUN. Like some wise pointed out here, Cutter and Fight are not the best buddies.

The Cutter is by far The Best miner, aka credits printer, and sure, a good trader ( but loosing time to trade is not worth, a single Painite rock may give you in 20 seconds more than a 20+ minutes trading run,, and will be a lot safer !
Boost your shields like a mad man, put guardian shield boosters in the military comparts, get drag drivers on grade 5 engineered thrusters and you will laugh at any NPC pirate dumb enough to interdict you ! You are untouchable, when you decide to run away. No ship or bunch of ships in this game can stop you or crash your shields before you say "sayonara" and jump other system !

The cutter is a fab trader hauler. Shame about the thrusters.
I think Op wouldve been best served with a corvette. It can both haul mine and fight simultaneously. Not that id advocate it for such a purpose. Shes is after all, a pew pew.

You are so right, indeed... but I love how the Cutter slide between rocks.... by far my favorite miner

I tend to stick to my cutter for day to day money making and I have engineered it to near completion and happily run the wing massacre & assasination missions by myself. Although the rank 6 ones tend to require a dock and repair as the weapons used on you tend to cause hull damage with your shields up. The trade in value on it is 1,069,998,851.

I solo high CZs all the time. A properly outfit combat Cutter is indestructible.

Here's my build, it's 75% engineered at this point. I swap the rail with another multicannon depending on my mood. Packhounds on the wings for chaff / fun. Edit: Something is wrong with the Coriolis build, jump range is 31ly.
