So I managed to fill my entire hold at Robigo and...

Nuff Sed.

Got interdicted 24 times, completely filled up a python

Worth it tho.

I felt like being silly kek.

*Insert Trump voiceovers for added effect.*

I tried with a python, 30 jumps, constant interdictions, out of time on one mission, which they then halved the mission payout, then messed up, and got scanned which destroyed 2 other missions.
Last night bought another Asp in Li's sector for 15% off, ran 3 missions in 12 jumps, much better.
These long distance hauls are actually fun, much better than the short distance, or pew pew stuff.

I actually just made it to Robigo last night in my Cobra. Its my first trip out here. I decided to give up some cargo space in exchange for a class 4 fuel scoop so that I can spend less time scooping while I deliver missions. Less time scooping=less time vulnerable in super cruise. However, it only left me with about 24T of cargo space with which to smuggle :( as opposed to the 32-36T I normally run depending on my loadout.

It's pretty busy out there, I suspect that many like me go to different modes, just to be able to land.

I thought to drag my Python out there... but I just didn't want to deal with some 30 jumps per run. I spent far too many hours in an Asp already and just didn't want to return to that ship either... don't get me wrong, the Asp is awesome. I just need something different for a while. I may eventually give in, lighten the Python up a little bit, and respec for additional range. At the moment she's a reinforced combat trader. Recently I've cared little about profits. Just tooling around doing whatever seems more fun at the moment. I'd likely have an A-spec Conda at this point if I optimized for cash.. but I get burnt out fast grinding. I try to avoid it.

You'd do well to lose your shields, you don't need them. In fact, lose everything but the scoop and cargo racks.. fit A rated FSD, thrusters and PD, and away you go.

Nothing will catch you, and you'll have 40-50t of space (can't remember exactly how much).

I ran 3 trips with my Cobra, then upgraded to an Asp. Not quite as fast, but you can pull in upwards of 75mil on a good run.

Since i am bored i am going to head there and put a cargo scanner on a new eagle. Going to scan you all. :)
haha - yeah - or just sit outside the station and scan everything that get's in or out. hmm, does player scan count to fail a mission? ok, I better shut up - having a bad bad day ...

I hadn't sat in an Asp since mid November, after a bout of exploring.
Since then, it's been Vulture, FAS, Hauler, Conda, Cobra and Python.
When I got into the Asp cockpit last night, it was a beautiful thing. I forgot completely how wonderful the view is with that gigantic canopy.

ha ha yeah straight up that's annoying being interdicted like that though. not fun gameplay

Stars are a smugglers greatest ally when stacking these missions.

When Dropping to a system I dive in at 75% cruse till the scoop rate maxes out which is almost to the point of being too close to the star and dropping out of SC.Kill the engines to zero and as soon as your speed hits 30 . point straight up and stay that way till everything that followed you in to the jump, dives right into the star in a attempt to get behind you and interdict. I do this in My asp stacking 10 to 15 missions pulling in about 50 million a run tycoon level trader at half cargo capacity 30/64t and never get scanned anymore.. still get a occasional pirate try and interdict on the way to a far of haul when jumping in to a destination. but The cops just all seem fall for the old toro toro trick and they never seem to show up for the rest of the run(besides ports)

Praise The Sun i guess :p

So, how much estimated would I make with 200t of cargo? With a rank of entrepreneur.

well per run.. if RNGesus blesses your personal Robigo bulletin board with the right missions and you got 1 million per ton 200 million if you get all delivered. You will find this rather difficult and more time consuming as it would take you a significant amount of time just to stack the missions, then your tonnage will cause your jump range to suffer making the runs longer.like hours longer.

From a time= money perspective a simple A spec asp explorer can pull in 50+mill a hour even at entrepreneur while i think your runs with 200t of cargo would press 4+hours anyway with half the galaxy chasing you to add to the "thrill" of such a endeavor.

Edit. I do this in 14 to 17 jumps in a asp ex,BTW. 12 minutes stacking.(gotta be choosy)+48 minutes doing the drop offs=50+mill

While I cringe seeing these threads for fear of the Devs shutting off the hydrant of money, I will say....not trying very hard and with a Asp kitted for 32t cargo and enough fuel not to have to scoop one way, I made 2 runs netting 30mil yesterday. I consider that not too shabby for a couple hours of work and not min/maxing my effort.

in defense to or alleviate any fear of repercussions, i would like to point out the 100 mission limit. this would not be so if we only meant to take a couple missions and a pittance of a paycheck. the flaw here is just not being able to refresh the missions on a more immersive level other then mode switching. with a galaxy of trillions there should be plenty of work and plenty of jobs being added constantly to the BB in a realistic setting.

IMO 300+ly runs are paying a reasonable amount in this manner for the time involved when taking on a bunch.

Oh, I agree 100% with that statement. It's not the stacking so much as the per mission payouts that make me nervous. I won't worry about it too much and just strike while the iron is hot and see what happens.
