Newcomer / Intro So I take mission to GILGAMESH to help out in a war zone...

And when I get there, i recalled I have to pick a faction. So I opened up my Transaction log to see which faction assigned the mission - and to my dismay, said faction was not listed on the mission.

So i arbitrarily picked one... I think I got the reward though for completing the mission but still, somewhat unnerved that perhaps I made the wrong choice.

Well, it's kind of dumb, but the way this works:

* The missions don't care which faction you fight for. You could even kill both factions.
* Turning in the mission will cause you to lose rep with both warring factions (though only one shows on the mission turnin UI)
* Turning in the mission will cause you to gain rep with the faction that provided the mission. If that was also one of the warring factions, though, you'll have a net loss, because the loss is larger in magnitude than the gain.

When you take on those mission to kill x-number in the war it doesn't matter whitch side you chose, you just need to kill the anounced number and you'll get a mission-done message....
