Iv'e also been having a blast in my Vulture ripping ships out of the sky with my twin C3G burst lasers but for the life of me I can't find any C3G beams anywhere near LTT 9097... The search continues...

Also, I have tried the C3G cannon and that thing is HARD to hit anything with, even at short range, easier to just ram the other ship at that point.

On the Navigation screen go to view, select it to show only High Tech Systems, and then go to the population as well, drag the bars for that so that only very high pop system's show, and go there I usually find there is one of vast population that is high tech within 100ly's of one another. Hope that helps, found several stations myself selling C3 Beams this way.

Currently running C3 beam and C3 Cannon, if your a good aim, and steady on the stick it is absolutely a destroyer of ships. If i get lucky and get a good spawn of large ships, I can average around 1.0-1.5 mil before having to leave the RES to reload ammo. I don't normally use the cannon on small ships as the C3 beam BBQ's them quite nicely, but it sure is fun to pop them once in a while

I dont know where you are (lazy to look at the map), but i have them in Fusang (cleve vision). Maybe a bit too far away but at least you can get it there.
