So, I want to up my pledge, but there's an account problem...

Hey all,

I'm confused.

I backed at the £90 level in the original KS Campaign. This gives me access to all updates but only normal Beta. I'd like to pay the extra £10 to go premium.

I log into my account, see my £90 package with associated rewards listed correctly. I next log into the Store and...well, this is what confuses me.

I have TWO items listed under "My Orders"

The first, dated 10-12-2013 is for £50 - clicking on "View Order" lists this as for the "Standard Beta".

The second, dated 24/01/2014 is for £35 - clicking on "View Order" lists this as "Expansion Pass".

So, only a total of £85 showing compared to my actual £90 single pledge.

With these details incorrect, I'm not sure how to proceed to pay my extra £10 to access the Premium Beta - the information held here suggests I'd be asked for £15, which isn't right.

Oh, incidentally, it also says I'm not subscribed to any newsletters, yet I get both Dev and Progress updates same as always.

What's happened to my account?

Cheers,

Scoob.

Go right through to checkout, it should give you a total of £10 to make it upto £100. If not send a ticket, they will sort it im sure ^_^

Thanks. Just tried that, it's wants to charge me £15 - need to see how to raise a ticket!

Hi Scoob,

Have a look on this page:

https://store.zaonce.net/support/

Found it thanks, ticket raised :)

Guess I'll not be Premium Beta'ing this evening.

Surprised this issues hasn't been raised before. I imagine many people, like me, wanted both a premium box set and expansions, which the £90 tier offered in the KS. I guess something got lost in translation from the original KS pledge & £5 has been misplaced.

Hopefully they can sort it for me.

Scoob.

I'm pretty sure they are quick with things like this. The odd thread pops up about this and normally in the next day or so they are up and running again.

Good luck and see you out there! :)

Just add Premium Beta to your cart in the Online Shop and the discount will be applied automatically.

Hey baskila, I think our posts crossed :) I did add it and only got an £85 discount. This is consistant within the Store, as they only place an £85 value on my £90 pledge, but I assume this is just a mistake.

Hopefully they'll be able to sort it...I wanna fly SPACE SHIPS! Lol.

Had this reply from Michael on another thread:

This is correct any discount is applied based on products you have in the store, not the kickstarter rewards as these are tracked separately.

Michael

So, it seems £90 KS = £85 Store. At least I know now.

See you in the Beta.

Hi Scoob,

When Frontier decided to offer this discount there was all kinds of furore on the forum. All sorts of people weren't getting the correct discount applied, and those of us who pledged at £150 for "Founder Of The Elite" weren't getting the correct discount for Alpha.

Long story short, after much whoo-ha on the forum, the issue was fixed and everyone lived happily ever after ... until now ...

I am sure your email to support will sort the issue soon (I must stop using the S word :D)

I had issues initially, but that was just on my account - I never had any reason to go into the store until today.

I do think it a little off that £90 paid to Frontier translates to £85 in the store. Still, I imagine they're deducting Kickstarters cut or something.

Either way, I'm sorta done with it now - my original package was a good deal, upgrading to Premium Beta no longer seems so. I'll wait and jump in when a few more bugs are squashed and a few more features added :)

No, it's £85 because the store is recognising you qualify for the Standard Beta at £50 and the Expnasion PAss at £35 and adds the two together. What it's not doing, and should do, is recognising you pledged £90 on Kickstarter and deducting that from the total amount for Premium Beta, leaving you to pay £10.

A quick email to support would sort this.

I had a similar situation. I didn't like it either but in the end I just went with it. I'm happy that I did but I agree that with more features it will be even better!

Hey all,

Support just confirmed what Micheal said. They did explain however that the Pledge period is over so you can't upgrade like you used to. Basically, my £90 Pledge IS only worth £85 now against an upgrade now.

Didn't realise this was the case, my only other Crowdfunding experience is Star Citizen, which does take your full pledge value against an upgrade, even now.

Not to worry, I'll be around for the main Beta, so I'll see you guys then no doubt :)

That's a shame. I didn't realise there was a time limit on that, so I apologise for giving you incorrect advice.
