So I wanted Purple pack... ARX fail

... and seems I wanted too much.

Logged in to see if there are any interesting paintjobs to buy. Recent days got ARX income and I thought I spend them on paints. Browsing in-game what is available I found Vibrant Purple Pack, tho I'm uncertain about the full name as it changes constantly, along with pack content.

• first it was Asp Vibrant Purple Pack, 620 ARX, 2 items (ASPX and Krait)
• then it changed to Mamba Vibrant Purple Pack, 620 ARX, 4 items (ASPX, Mamba, Krait and probably FDL tho uncertain as it vanished quickly)
• next was either Asp or Mamba Vibrant Purple Pack, 620 ARX, 3 items (AspX, Mamba and Krait)

Obviously I wanted that 4-item pack since it was the bang for a buck but transaction failed: "one item was unrecognized". Shortly after whole pack downgraded from 4-item to 3-item. Oh well, no big deal, still a bargain. But again, every attempt failed due to the very same error. Pack item count varies - one time it's 2-item pack, other time it's again 3-item pack. Once it shows on "packs" page but mostly as an individual offer on given ship options - Mamba Vibrant Purple Pack in the Krait section.

Tried to exit the store, exit the game, closed the client. None worked. Packs show at random, with random names, random item count. The only working and constant is the error. I will just say: not cool Frontier.

I don't tend to buy stuff from within the game, but from the website - have you tried that? That seems to work fine (though I thought they'd stopped packs since Arx were introduced, except for giveaways). The purple pack was available as a Twitch drop recently.

Yep, most likely related. Probably just the way they packaged them to give away but somehow OP saw them. Of course, if OP saw the stream they'd already have them.

I have separate entries with different icon depicting it's a pack. For example - Mamba pack consists of Mamba, Asp and Krait paintjobs.

I don't purchase much and my last transactions were from in-game store. I raised this issue since web store doesn't have those packs. Since it showed up on my in-game I tried to get them there. Which leads us to the following...

you're probably right. Now that you mentioned it I remember reading some info about Twitch and those purple paintjobs being a reward. Can't be coincidence.

Yeah, it's cheap on individual basis. Just seeing 2-4 pains in the price of one was extra cheap.

Oh well, as mentioned it's probably Twitch thing and since it's more likely a glitch (since you are not confirming it) I'll add this as yet another thing that Frontier messed .
