General / Off-Topic So..., I was Hacked...

...and then it turned out it was the CIA masking its self as Kapersky to make the Russians look bad... Lets not have 'Russiaphobia' here... remember they are people too, and also play this game, imagine how they feel with all these lies being spread about them :(

interesting how the CIA news got little attention

I use Kaspersky, works like a charm, never was hacked or compromised.

Kaspersky is the best.

I can tell, I went from Norton, to Avast, to AVG, to Mc Afee, to Kaspersky.

With Kaspersky I never had a problem.

Question, do you use the secure connection often ?

An interesting trajectory, with Mc Afee where it is in the list ;) My history would look more like:

Norton/Mc Afee (bundled 'junkware' on most new PC's)>AVG (olden days)>Avira>Avast (now a bit bloated)>*something 'new'

Where the new option can vary, but as i now mostly use Linux (Mint) for my internet connections, the choice of AV is less a concern.

The free-ware site techsupportalert.com has a reasonable roundup and updated look at various options:

No hardly, I'm on a VPN line.
