So if i want single player offline?

I am guessing this game is not for me? Space games are the only games that i wana play alone, plus my net connection during few months will be crap due to upgrading or whatever my net provider is doing (at least 50% reduce payment :) so i will probably be playing offline, i am guessing this game is strictly online?

In Solo you don't interact with other players (though they have their invisible hands on the markets.) In the planned Solo Offline, the markets etc. will also be static.

Hey Guys,

There will be 4 modes from memory. Open Play, Private Group, Solo and Solo Offline.

The first 3 all exist online and use data from the same server. So events to the galaxy like, commodity prices, wars etc are seen by all players. The only difference is what people see in terms of other human players.

Open play - Everyone is potentially visible.
Private group - People in your private group are visible
Solo - No other players are visible

Solo Offline will be the offline version where the server runs locally on your computer and won't be influenced by anything happening online. For example commodity prices, wars etc.

I think solo offline could work but I would expect having different "save" on offline and online. If your save is on your PC it's easy to cheat and offline would have different economy/market than online
