So....is exploration possible again?

We all know the problems 1.3 brought, we all know how much the explorers near the central core were suffering. Routing not working properly. Disconnects, the list went on.

Is it all fixed? Can i safely go back out into the wild? The dark black void is calling and this time i dont mean my ex.

I was just leaving the core when 1.3 dropped. I had one disconnect that weekend when US came online on Saturday. Since then I've had frequent double scans, but no more disconnects. It's about as good as before the patch outside the core region, but as Alex said, I'd wait on selling large amounts of data.

I've been out exploring since before 1.3. Disconnects are fixed, needing to double scan planets and the discovery scanner isn't quite fixed. Maybe 10%-20% of the time you need to do it again. Galaxy maps seems fine but I'm not right in the core (few 1000 LY away)

I arrived at Sagittarius A* last night. The last 1500ly was purgatory... I had to manually plot each jump and trying to find the star I wanted was a nightmare as the galaxy map was drawing so many stars it was impossible to click on the right one. So no, not fixed yet I don't think!

This has always always been the case and is not a recent problem. Filter by star class and remove all except 1 or 2 scoopable types, it helps.

This explains why you get problems in the core:

Helped me a ton personally when I was there.
