Yep, and if you do happen to prefer playing in Open, then turning up in your Vulture or Clipper will make it less obvious that you're there to sell exploration data.

I secretly wanted to go exploring with a group....I like the idea of being out in the void for weeks on end away from the civilised systems..
but surely it gets boring? seeing the same looking stars and planets to scan? with just different names ect?
all that time for even a 100 million would be a bit monotomous?
obviously the money is just a bonus to your enjoyment.........now if we could explore systems and then send a search party down to planets surfaces and other cool stuff that would be brill.

I had 3301 systems worth of data, about 70,000Ly. I hit Lembava at lunchtime in the UK (1200hrs) in open and the place was empty. Was there last night evening in the UK and there were about eight CMDR's of which one interdicted me. I dont think it was because he thought I was an explorer as I was in a Python. If you need a hand let us know via the explorer forum.
