So it looks like we can't unlock the Gyrosphere till we get to Tacaño

Basically the third island as some are calling it meaning the islands won't unlock in the order they are in. I have a suspicion that Isla Sorna will be last, at least in the Las Cinco Muertes chain. Nublar is the real last island and it's where the big secret is that I am sure people will have ruined for them just 3-4 days after the game is released by YouTube video.

I was reading over the JWE Reddit page and found it.

Nice spot!

I'm defenitely avoiding this forum for a while once I have the game and any other form of media regarding the game. I want to build up the anticipation for myself!

I have no problem that it unlocks with the third island, we can go back and forth anyway if I want it on the first two islands.
I will try to avoid reading anything that might spoil the big secret but I'm sure that is easier said than done.

This also tells us that the islands won't be unlocked in the order we see them. I thought Pena would be the last island since that is where you unlock the Indo-Rex and it's the island that is in constant night. Also since it was so small. But it seems like Sorna will be the last island.

What I believe:

1.-Matanceros: Less popular and more peaceful species. I do not think we have the Triceratops anything else start like what we saw in the demo. The most elementary technologies, only a digging equipment available.
2.-Muerta: Perpetual sunset. A bit more difficult than Matanceros but equally affordable difficulty. A little more popular dinos (maybe Metriacanthosaurus, Albertosaurus ...). Maybe they'll give us more digging equipment.
3.-Tacaño: Sunny weather but with storms and tornadoes. Moderate difficulty. Access to the most dangerous medium-sized carnivores and to many technologies, such as the gyrosphere.
4.-Pena: Perpetual night. High difficulty, access to large carnivores such as T-Rex, Spino, etc. Also through good tuning with the Entertainment division access to the creation of the I-Rex. Here we are going to have a bad time.
5.-Sorna: The final challenge with the maximum difficulty. I think that at this point we will have all the dinosaurs available to create with respect to the previous island. Changing weather with tornadoes, thunderstorms and everything. You will have to sweat a lot to win.

The difficulty should be staggered and give us little by little access to improvements for how is the unlocking of islands and dinosaurs.

It says in the island description that Sorna will throw everything at us. I also hope they mean a day and night cycle.

I like that train if thought

I like the idea that each island offers something different which lends me to believe that there will be future DLC that will add new islands with their own new challenges.

If any of the islands will have a true day/night cycle, it'll surely be Nublar.

True, but the devs have already stated that were wasn't one in the game so I doubt even on Nublar there will be. seems like a lot of extra programing, if they were going to do that I think they would have made it for all of the islands, not just one.

And if not, we can always hope they add it later.
I also think there must be a good reason they didn't decide to have a day/night cycle and choose to have set times for every island.

They said it was make each island different and unique. Meaning the play areas we get on each island will basically look the same. An area with some mountains and hills covered in green jungle.

Exactly, I forgot about that and I don't mind that the islands look alike.
It was only in TLW and JP3 we had some difference in vegetation because the events were on different parts of the island.

All they need to do is give us the option to choose the lighting we want like we can in Plant Coaster. I don't really need the cycle. Though it would be nice.

I like that idea.
