So...Just docked at Obsidian Orbital

I was expecting Ant to give me all that chatter about docking accepted etc etc. He didn't though, is his Scottish Cousin sitting in docking control? 400 Light years and made 290,000 credits.and my Exploration rank didn't go up by 1 percent.
Are you sure you are not referring to his voice attack pack? Don't think TC in Obsidian was ever voiced any differently. As for the exploration data, it takes a bit at times to refresh, fastest way to see if you gained more % is to log out and back in. Also keep in mind that depending on your rank it may take quite a substantial amount of data/$ to advance (Ranger approx. reached at ~19Mio. Pioneer ~58Mio, Elite ~161Mio) so a few hundred K might not make any difference if you are at a high rank anyway
No, I was just expecting Ant to do the voice for the Orbital itself, as far as I am aware he is the only Player to have a Station named after him. I just thought it would have been a nice touch.
And my Exploration rank went up 2% [redface]
290.000 isn't much data, so you'd not go up far, depending on your current rank.
Dumb question - why was a station named after ObsidianAnt?
To thank him for promoting the creation of a far away statioon. The name was picked by the community after a public vote IIRC.
One of the other options was the Nebula Goat (Peace Be Upon Her) Shrine.
That's a cool hat tip by the community. Some of Obsidian Ant's tutorials and featurettes have been a life saver.
