I am half way into a bottle of wine so be gentle.
I guess this post is a bit of a reality check for me.
I'm sat here (as i said) half way into a bottle of wine, i have the night to myself and i'm getting all gushy about Elite.
There were dark days when i thought this would never happen but it finally has. I'm playing Elite again.
It's done all trhe things to me the original did, it's killed me for seemingly no apparent reason. It's transported me into a universe where i choose my destiny and (this time around) my actions effect the universe. And it has left me wanting more when i leave it.
So i guess thanks to David and the team for staying true to your vision and giving us the game we have craved for so long.
Congrats on a very successful launch!
I can't wait to see what the future holds for the game and the franchise.
Also like to thank the guys who kept the spirit alive Robin Sharrock for Frontierverse, Jeroen van Dronggelen and Graham "Jades" Thurwell and the guys at Oolite. Also all the other people that kept an aging game franchise alive (too many to mention).
So now its back to the game my wine and the top gear special.
Thanks for reading!
