Sure this has probably been said but cannot find it. There are so many fleet carriers in the game now that we need to be able to filter them out (already exists) yet somehow still be able to see my own in the left panel. Might be more complicated than I know to do that but sure wish you could do something as it is a real pain when there are so many of them in systems where things are happening. Just a quality of life suggestion thats all.

It is highlighted but still have to scan through a hundred other ones to get to it would be nice if we can filter out the others which we can but that also filters mine out. I do have it bookmarked for ease of use when I want to quickly grab it from afar to plot course but once in system if filter is on I cannot easily lock on and or supercruise assist without turning the damn filter back on.
Mine is bookmarked in the Galaxy Map and in a few clicks I can lock onto it in the same system just fine.
Now as I understand it supercruise assist will be balked by this but then I understand it doesn’t work with SCO anyway. I actually do have supercruise assist on a ship somewhere but it isn’t something I have really bothered learning to use.
Yes correct you do need to be able to click on it in the left nav panel to initiate supercruise assist if you don't use this function then it really would not affect the way you do it. I use it especially when I just want to lock on to where I am going and multi-task on my tablet.
It would be very nice if the Nav Panel filters allowed bookmarked items to pass through the filters.

I agree. It is a minor annoyance but it would be very nice if it could be addressed. It does help that your own carrier is highlighted and stands out, but needing to scroll through all of the carriers in the system defeats the purpose of having a filter system.
My suggestion would be to have a sub-option in the navigation filters indented under Fleet Carriers for “See only my Fleet Carrier.” When the box is toggled it hides all fleet carriers besides your own.
On the left hand navigation panel, in your filter choices, when you un-check Fleet Carriers (i.e. make them invisible in the scrolling list), have all fleet carriers disappear from the list as usual, EXCEPT any you have bookmarked.
As far as affecting what is seen in the actual system map, I don't think it should. I think the actual graphical map should show everything.
