So many Ideas...

Hey Guys!

Want to ask you, how you get the best ideas for buildings, exhibits, parks, scenery?

When i start a zoo im always unsure what do to, but when i start i always get new ideas to improve my work while building. What about you? By photos? videos? or are you just building completely free using your creativity?

Completely free. When I get a block, I look at the workshop and get inspired ideas there and then make it my own.

The more you build by yourself the better you become so I try not to use preset designs because I'll never improve if I do that.

What my park ends up looking like is a basic concept of design in the front and then as you get to the back it becomes more intricate. I then revisit the front and revamp and turn those basic looking buildings/habitats into something better.

I just go in free form and let things grow naturally. The only thing I try to be cognizant of is to put the staff buildings in a spot that they'll serve for future habitats that I haven't even thought about yet. I'm obsessed with making sure no guest sees stuff they don't like. I was happy to learn they don't mind solar panels! Other than all that, I'm just like Indiglow where the front needs to be revisited after I get more money and research which makes the back look much nicer.

Just deleted the entrance of my zoo in franchise mode to build something better. But i just dont have any idea. Im sitting here, i have time, i have space in and enough (ingame) money. But what... should i do?

I say start with something simple. Then embellish it with as much detail as you can. Just remember, you can always delete all of it and start again! Nothing is permanent. There are no mistakes, just happy accidents.

That is amazing! I wish I could be that creative. I need some inspiration for my parks. I enjoy sandbox, but I never have any ideas.

i still need a lot more decoration and foliage.

And that idea just came while building. wanted to make a small bridge through some foliage and plants and a huge sign on top of it. All this in djungle-colors, but suddenly i colored something in pink. Well, didnt look that bad so i decided to take this color as another theme-color of the zoo.

By the way: its NEW monkey kingdom, cause the first zoo i started to breed gorillas (for the community challenge) got instantly bankrupt by the feeding-bug xD
