So...Military Supercapacitors....

Where in the living beep can I find the damn things?

I've scoured countless war/civil war systems +even checked faction states. And it seems to be giving me Military Grade Alloys instead.

How does one find them...?

Any tips or tricks??

I shall offer my Xbox controller to the RNGesus and set up a shrine in his honour XDDD

Decided to farm all G5 manufactured mats, and starting with the most elusive one.

What you want to do is locate a cluster of systems with the right combinations of states and governments, and just jump between them, dropping at the nav beacon, check the signal sources, and repeat.

Do that and you'll be very likely to find a HGE in less than an hour or so.

No, pharmaceutical isolators are the most illusive one.
Your personal experience is one thing the reality is quite different. Pharmaceutical Isolators drop from some big ships and HGE in ANY system with Outbreak.

Improvised Components on other hand drop ONLY from HGE in Independent Systems in Civil Unrest which is quite rare combination, especially in high population systems. HGE spawn rate is directly affected by system population.

please RNGesus..

tho it's getting to a point id be more than happy to throw money at FDEV to fill up my Military Supercapacitors 🤣🤣

Pretty sure its Fed HGE's
That will give you core-dynamics composites. For Military Supercapacitators and Military Grade alloys you need Independent Systems in War or Civil War. The problem with HGE spawn is that type is heavily influenced by other BGS statuses.
In addition allegiance is also a major factor:
Example:
You are looking for Pharmaceutical Isolators. An Imperial system in Outbreak should spawn them on theory but in reality you just find Imperial shielding. This is because spawn rate is affected also by allegiance, instead of one type now you give RNG two types to troll you. And I suspect that spawn chance is different for different HGE types but I haven't figured this yet.

I really do not know who created the following table, but it is quite accurate from my 2+ years of experience and 50+ fully engineered ships.

When you max out those, cross trade them at material trader as Bigmaec suggested and continue.
