This is so disappointing! EDO held so much promise, was exciting to watch the dev team updates, then the alpha, and now a buggy disaster! After purchase, and after the servers settled down a bit, I was met with a black screen. Game would only work in windowed mode, but even then the graphics were so dim you could barely see any ships or read the HUD...even with gamma turned all the way up. Then crashes, low framerate, more issues... Most importantly, it was realized that this never even entered beta phase before production. Therefore, I requested and received a refund. The Fdev twitter account keeps saying how they worked so long on this, but honestly the finished product feels like it was in development for a week before they pushed it out bugs and all. Fdev, you can do better and I hope you do. This experience has been shameful, disappointing, frustrating, and it feels like you duped the user base.

So many flaws with it.
The UI is a hot mess, be it galaxy map (prefer the horizon one, it was fast, intuitive and easy to use and everything was centered and not spread across the edges)
Also the menu for ship kits and armor kits are so clunky to use. What were they thinking? It's 2021 and every app on my phone is more intuitive and better designed than this.
Are they having real designers for this? Or did they release the "1996-paint-guy" on doing the job?
It really is something which could be easily done right and more modern with a little bit of effort and passion.
Also, alot of guys don't have the pre-order suit-skins. And me not having access to my already bought flight-suit-skins from horizons.

The lighting is also more weird compared to horizon. Look at some screenshots provided by the community and in other threads. Something is very off!

The planets look exponentially worse than they did in Horizons. Like it's glaringly obvious how much worse it is. And it isn't justified by "oh the sky is blue now!"
