That really isnt good enough. The NPC problems have been around since Engineers was released and griefers well before then. They should be releasing a patch to sort these things out on Friday, not in two months time. Would take them a couple of hours to sort a lot of this stuff out - restrict engineer upgrades to players and make long term griefers who keep hitting innocent ships have to play in a Sidewinder for a trial period - or even simpler just impound their ship and bank balance for a few weeks. Those two things shouldnt be difficult to sort in a few hours and they would at least make the game playable for the bulk of players.
Come on Frontier take the bloke off doing the buggy skins and put him onto this please.
Well the bloke (or blokette?) doing the buggy skins won't necesarrily know how to code the NPCs just because they are an employee of Frontier. Devs have different jobs and specialities contrary to the popular misconception that all devs are interchangeable in a musical chairs/room filling kind of way. That really isnt good enough.
