So powerplay isn't going too good.

Seeing this cycle powerplay results, i must say that it seems pretty broken.
Zachary Hudson (Did back in Beta too) Arissa (Seriously again -,-) Li-Yong Rui (Didn't see that one coming) and Edmund Mahon (That's what we get for expanding into 10 systems at once lmao, but hey we jumped up to #3... Somehow) all are in turmoil.
And princess space bubblegum is at #1... Somehow.

Well, screw this.
I'm abandoning powerplay once and for all, it's just a stupid feature that only ends up getting me headaches.

See you out in space commanders!

Maybe it will turn into something good along the way.

Its a fair basis for future story crafting. You've gotta have characters to tell a story, right ?

Without the ability to coordinate and with so many saboteurs, I can totally understand why this is happening. It's humorous.
.
I think the premise of the system is great though. The execution might leave a bit to be desired, but the premise is great.

Its all good, the ups and downs, unless its not good, then heh, quick manual fix incomming, I dunno any more...

Now I haven't logged in to check the stats or anything this week yet but... does it not stand to reason that a number of these powers have had systems successfully undermined by their competitors, thus reducing their overall CC availability?

I'll admit, as an Aisling supporter I find myself a little shocked that we've jumped to #1, but at the same time our comparative position puts us, genreally speaking, at minimal risk of undermining due to the distances involved, thus allowing Foritifcations to be put into palce to secure our budget for the enxt Cycle.

Not really, all this week I've been met with massive resistance from ALL the other factions in Hudson territory, in Nanomam last night there were about 4-5 wings of 4 from various factions plus ships not in wings
-
So Hudson has been hit hard this week and I know why, your merits don't add to the "percentage" until you cash them in so people who have loads of cash can get 10,000 merits a week easily, I'm not going to tell you how but it can be done, so they pick some systems and wait until the last moment and their new merits overtake the system in undermining (so imagine Hudson is 30% ahead in the last day, you might ignore it and think you've own it, but someone cashing in 10,000 merits on that system makes it go up by a lot more than that)
-
As far as I've seen Aisling Duval has had a lot of activity going on this week, I've seen literally fleets and fleets of ships in their systems, all CMDRs in wings, so probably a group is making sure they got ahead
-
As for the alliance, they have gone virtually Unopposed for weeks and sneaking their way up each week

Yep PP gives me the S**ts, been away a week working and lost my rating etc, Just a crock and time waster and only suits those with mega credits to spend on merits. De-pledged and staying that way.

Actually, I think this is one of the most interesting things to have happened in PP.

When is a power going to get organised enough to give another one a knock out blow? I was drifting away from it, but I think I might go and see what mischief I can get up to!

Not surprised space khaleesi has made it to no1 they seem pretty organised. Unlike archons army of psychos and rogues.

We've fought off undermining since it started. I'm not sure what you are on about.

You are right seems archon is efficient but outnumbered.

I'm only in PP for the modules. When I get the ones I want (P-shields, Hammer and Advanced Plasma) I'm out. The ratings and grinds and pictures of the "powers" etc is just silly.

I tried it but I quickly decided it wasn't for me and went back to doing other stuff. If some people like it then cool, that's great but I can't help thinking how better spent those hours of development time could have been spent in other, arguably more important, areas of the game.

I took off for the core about two weeks ago. Lazily working my way there, partly because PP was so disappointing... no real reason to come back for a while.

It doesn't serve a purpose really.

Once I eventually make it to the core I plan to defect and see if they send hunters after me.

"Princess Space Bubble Gum"

Lmao. Rep+1.

And it's so true. I feel like a great number of people go for princess space bubble gum because she's pretty and has blue hair...a very sophisticated power choice

I was sort of vaguely interested in Powerplay when I read various comments suggesting that if I spend 100M then I could turn a profit in four weeks, but I haven't yet seen a simple how-to. All threads seem to collapse in mathematical arguments, so I didn't bother.

I don't want to play Powerplay, but I'd use it for money if it were simply a matter of investing.
