I had one partial mission list yesterday, and a couple of matchmaking server errors close together last week. Going to the main menu and back cured all of them. Given the JIT nature of the AWS servers and load balancing I'm amazed the whole network is as stable as it is. It used to get very flaky from time to time, but it's pretty good now. Most times I play for such a long time without issue that I literally forget these things can happen until they do.
It'll be interesting to see what comes from that ticket. It might indicate that the network as a whole is struggling, or it could just be that a subset of players is getting very unlucky in repeatedly hitting the same iffy server instance. In the latter case it could be a geolocation or ISP issue. It would be nice if this information was part of the ticket submission actually; we might be able to spot a pattern earlier. But I understand that some might see that as a privacy/security issue.
Leaving for a year seems like overkill, but good luck to the OP if that's what they want to do. They'll almost certainly come back to a better experience in terms of content, unless FD drops a major howler and breaks the whole game.
