So the time hase come, my rift is broken

Bought it 17/4 last year so still under warranty

Randomly the screen goes black but game is still running on screen.
I can reproduce it 100% by slight press on the outer HMD casing below the left lens. Its not the HDMI Cable Connection.
I guess its the Circuits inside when getting warm there is a short cut or bad Connection.

So it is broken. Can still play but it is a Little annoying if it happens during combat.

It does not really have much milage over the year.

Since I live in Sweden, I guess its just a matter of replacement since I dont Think we have repair knowledge or are even allowed to repair if it is not Oculus them selves.

Get it booked in quickly on an Oculus support ticket. It is likely they will replace it, but it can take a couple of weeks for it all to go through. I hope you still have the packaging it came out in.

Yup all intact. I have also raised a ticket to Oculus.

I am really happy I managed to find the root cause of the problem. Lots of problems I read still originate from drivers and USB hubs not supplying enough Power.

Glad I found it so I dont have to start fiddling with drivers and stuff

I feel your pain. The strap on line broke and I'm currently on day 1 of week 2 with no rift and it sucks lol. I have no desire to play ed on my (65 inch) tv

I kept getting an issue last night with mine. It kept on going to the oculus app at the worst time possible (while hyperjumping). I was thinking the same that my oculus was on the way out.

Found out afterwards I was sitting on the remote control.

Hope you get it sorted and replaced.
