Newcomer / Intro So... there is literally nothing I can do now??

Stuck in space, blah blah blah, wait for ship to come by when you run out of fuel.. well I can't run out of fuel.. I can't even super cruise... so fuel won't run out. LOL I just stocked up on super conductors.. took a decent amount of money and now I'm stuck in space.

Wouldn't be so bad if that damn signal wasn't some A-hole trying to kill me. But he lost...

Distress beacon... read about it.. doesn't exist

ships come by to sell fuel.. I still have hope.. if I can run out of fuel.


so... can other players give me fuel ??

might try and get my friend to ask around the system he is in for some if that's possible.

You can self destruct or wait until 1.3 is released and have someone bring you fuel. Right now you can't share fuel in space.

So, what exactly is the problem? Is your ship broke, or are your controls set wrong? If you switch to panel 4, under functions you can do a reboot/repair and try to get some functions back. Check your modules panel to see that you didn't turn off your thrusters or frameshift drive or something.
If you're having problems with your controls, run the tutorials again until you get them set up correctly.

Just in case you can't supercruise but have fuel, is it because your weapons are still deployed ? Or your cargo scoop ?

You state that you were near a signal and someone tried to kill you but lost, did you take any damage? Can you move at all? If so, I suspect hardpoints are deployed. If not, maybe catastrophic engine damage - or damage to thrusters. If you were at max mass for your current thrusters, and had them damaged, I suppose it's possible that would affect the maximum mass they will move and you are now too heavy to be moved by them.

If your thrusters are damaged, you may be able to move by ditching cargo until you are under maximum mass, but look for what your maximum mass is first if possible, don't want to ditch cargo and find you still can't move. (Are you in open, or solo? If solo then at least another player can't come along and take your cargo floating around in space.

And has it still been the same after having logged off and on again?
