The dangerous substance sign is interesting, but the press twice for emergency exit message suggest he is responsible for crashing out.

Can't be a random bug. FD commented it was "something new!". We've had random bugs from day 1.

There's a minor bug where any damage to the cargo hatch will trigger the Hazardous substance message. So the screenshot could simply have been an unplanned drop from supercruise.
Are there any reports with actual proof that somebody did encounter aliens outside the Pleiades?

Also, correct me if I'm wrong, but that reply would be from FD support.

Remember how in the first few hours after 2.4 landed, we had gazillions of videos with Thargoid encounters? If people had been pulled out of supercruise, anywhere, there would be tons of videos. I'm not talking hyperdiction, but supercruise. So I don't think it is what the poster in the reddit page thinks it is. Speaking for myself, I'm 40 Kylies away from Sol and I've not encountered any anomaly either in hyperspace or supercruise. And I want it to stay that way.
